Na het horen van Slick - Space Bass wist Pat het: dit is mijn muziek. Na het kennis maken met het beat-mixen door Ton Flasza in de beroemde discotheek Down Town in Maassluis was hij helemaal verkocht. Na kijken en luisteren naar de mix kunsten in Down Town is Pat flink gaan oefenen. De eerste thuis-mixen voor de buitenwereld zijn gemaakt met n draaitafel en een bandrecorder. In de jaren 80 zijn diverse van deze thuismixen van Pat te horen geweest op de toenmalige radio piraat Radio Stad Den Haag. In de loop der jaren heeft Pat in diverse discotheken en op menig feest gedraaid . Ongeveer 8 jaar is Pat resident DJ geweest in caf Notre Dame. Daar heeft Pat op veel feesten gestaan met in de line-up vaak bekende DJ namen. De stijl van Pat is 'Dance' in brede zin. Disco dance classics zijn een oude liefde maar vanaf de eerste voorzichtige pogingen van 'House' heeft Pat daar ook een grote liefde voor ontwikkelt. Hij is te porren voor een avond disco draaien maar een avond jaren 90 club of recente dance is ook een mogelijkheid. Een combinatie van deze stijlen is ook geen probleem. Vaak heeft Pat ook back2back gedraait met o.a.
